KrugerGuide.com is run by one person, not a big agency. I spent the majority of my childhood on a farm and private nature reserve just over an hour from Kruger, with plenty of fond memories of camping in the park. Today I live on the Panorama Route, near the source of the Sabie River and the famous waterfalls, and I still visit Kruger as often as I can.
Why This Site Exists
I love Kruger, and I love helping people plan their own trip here. A lot of what's online about visiting Kruger is generic — written by people who've never actually been. I wanted to put together something more accurate, based on what I actually know from visiting the park and knowing this part of the country well.
Mpumalanga — Zulu for "the place where the sun rises" — is home to both that reserve and the Panorama Route where I live now. I know the Panorama Route well, so I'm always happy to point people toward it alongside a Kruger trip. It's taken a lot of late nights and research to build this properly, and it's mostly been a one-person effort. I'm still adding to it.
